SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Junior right side Lauren Thul (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central) and freshman setter Amanda Krampf (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) each tallied double-doubles for the second consecutive match to lead Gettysburg to a 3-1 (30-26, 30-22, 25-30, 30-25) win over Swarthmore in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday.

Gettysburg has won three consecutive matches and has improved its record to 15-8 overall and 6-1 in CC play. Swarthmore (11-10, 3-4 CC) has lost six out of its last seven matches.

Krampf recorded her 19th assist-dig double-double of the season with 51 helpers and 19 digs. Thul tallied a team-high 19 kills and 13 digs for her second consecutive double-double. She led Gettysburg with a .349 hitting percentage.

With 35 digs, senior libero Steph Vial (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) led five Bullets in double-figures. Freshman setter Jade Dunhour (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) and junior defensive specialist Katie Potochney (Roselle, N.J./Roselle Catholic) each recorded 15 digs.

Senior middle hitter Caitlyn Barr (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) had 14 kills and a team-high four blocks. Junior outside hitter Katie Heffner (Easton, Pa./Easton) also recorded double-digit kills with 11.

Gettysburg will return to action on Wednesday at home against McDaniel. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
